We are a Texas based, multi-state club that is enriched by memberships spanning the entire South Central United States.  We are also a multi-generation family organization, as we have watched our children and now grandchildren exhibit their ponies and join in the  activites and shows.  They are the new leaders of today and tomorrow  in the GCWPA.

The GCWPA bids a sorrowful farewell to Mrs. Joan Dunning of Farnley Farms.  Mrs. Dunning, who passed on at the age of 101 and 9 months, was extremely influential in the importation and breeding of Welsh bloodlines in the US, as well as dartmoors and crossbred ponies.  Mrs. Dunning was a recipient of the ASHA (now USEF) Breeders Award. Our deepest sympathy to the family and dear friends of Mrs. Dunning.
